From the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground and Federation Square to the sophisticated Paris End of Collins Street, there’s something to captivate every traveller. Experience the energy of live music, festivals, and events happening year-round, or take a short trip to the nearby wine regions, beaches, and lush national parks.
Whether you’re a food lover, sports enthusiast, or cultural explorer, Melbourne offers endless opportunities to indulge, discover, and be inspired. Come and experience the city where culture, style, and laid-back charm blend seamlessly.
In March, Melbourne enjoys mild to warm autumn weather with daytime temperatures ranging from 20°C to 26°C (68°F to 79°F) and cooler nights around 12°C to 16°C (54°F to 61°F). The city typically experiences moderate humidity, plenty of sunshine, and occasional short rain showers, with around 40-50 mm of rainfall for the month. While generally pleasant, Melbourne is known for its unpredictable weather, so it’s best to dress in layers to adapt to quick changes. Breezes, especially near the coast and Albert Park, can also be common.

The Australian GP 2025 dates are confirmed and the event will be held from Thursday, 13 March 2025 to Sunday, 16 March 2025.
The Australian GP 2025 will take place at the Albert Park Street Circuit. This scenic track is located about 10–15 minutes south of Melbourne’s CBD and winds around the picturesque Albert Park Lake. While it’s a public road for most of the year, the circuit features permanent pit buildings for the event.
Australian GP 2025 hospitality tickets went on sale in early September 2024, while grandstand tickets and Park Passes went on sale in early October 2024. Our exclusive Australian GP 2025 packages are on sale now.
The first option is to purchase Australian GP 2025 tickets through the official Australian GP website or Ticketmaster, either via the ticket ballot or General Public release. However, these tickets often sell out quickly, don’t offer the added benefits of a travel package, and may lead to booking flights and hotels at inflated prices with limited options for groups or corporate bookings.
The second option is to book grandstand tickets or hospitality suites through a travel company offering ticket-inclusive packages.
If you were successful in the ticket ballot and are travelling interstate or internationally to Melbourne, we offer a range of travel packages for you. Choose from our hotel packages, or if you’re departing from Sydney, Brisbane, or Perth, we also have flight-inclusive options and other services.
For those seeking a more personalised trip, our expert team can create a custom package tailored to your needs — whether you’re coming from New Zealand, Singapore, the UK, the USA, or beyond.

Events Travel STUNNED us!
Events Travel provided an amazing hotel, walking distance from the Australian Open and tickets that stunned us day after day, game after game. We have already booked Wimbledon with them. No wonder my A.I. search for the best tennis packager placed Events Travel at the top of the list. That’s where they belong.
Everything as Promised
Events Travel delivered everything we wanted as promised – great seats and excellent accommodations at a fair price. No surprises, no hassles. We’re already on the waitlist for next year.
For my wife’s birthday
The whole thing went really smoothly – from the planning to the execution. The accommodation and tickets were excellent. I could not have imagined anything better👍
The booking was easy
The booking was easy, professional and a great team to deal with. Any questions we had were answered in a timely manner and friendly staff. Second time we have booked with them and we are happy with their service. Thank you.
Very convenient. Book everything together.
Booking through Events travel gave us the opportunity to purchase Australian Open tennis tickets prior to the general ticket sales. They gave us an extensive list of hotels to choose from. We booked tickets at Rod Laver arena which we were very happy with. We hope to use Events Travel again.
